This pioneering project will leverage Cranfield University’s expertise in hydrogen research to shape the future of sustainable architecture. This innovative initiative will explore how hydrogen technologies can transform the built environment, enabling the creation of energy-efficient, carbon-neutral buildings that align with the global drive towards net-zero emissions.
Through collaboration with Cranfield’s renowned research centres, including the Aerospace Integration Research Centre and the Digital Technology for the Built Environment Centre, we aim to integrate hydrogen production and energy systems into cutting-edge architectural designs. By working alongside national and international partners from both the research and industry sectors, we will address key challenges in energy use and emissions reduction, whilst driving forward the development of hydrogen-powered infrastructures for the future of architecture.
